Scones
Ginger scones with orange whisky marmalade.
Basic scone recipe but with 2 teaspoons of ground ginger added. From thinking about it to them going in the oven 10 minutes, 15 minutes in the oven, 5 minutes to cool down, 30 seconds to eat!!
Roy frightened me to death this morning, on waking he asked me to get the First Aid manual, all sorts of things went through my mind, however, it wasn't serious, he had developed a shin splint. The cure was RICE, so all morning whilst I slaved in the house, cleaning bathrooms, windows, both patios, bedrooms, lounge and kitchen he read the paper. I suggested he did the ironing, as he could stand on one leg to do that - he took the hint and the ironing has been done.
