Just in time
The heavens opened just as we reached the restaurant tonight.
Lovely to sit under this roof as the thunder, lightning and rain happened.
Slightly lazy day, up a little later, the 'boys' went for their clothes fitting, while us 'girls' finished our coffee/cold lemon tea.
Met them at Siam station then on to MBK shopping centre to pick up a handbag and purse for a work colleague, also just had to have a look at the cameras. Resisted so far.
Nice fresh lunch of rice and a couple of chicken dishes. I did tell Geoff he didn't have to eat the whole chillies but never mind.
In case you can't guess it was home, shower, snooze before going out to dinner. We visited a restaurant close to Jon and Diana's old house which serves lovely fresh food and has great service and with drinks the bill for four of us was £20.
Sorry not doing tourist bits but we did those before and it is so hot and chaotic in those areas we're giving them a miss. Jon and Dana have said this is the hottest weather in a while, definitely high thirties which feels warmer in the sun and quite humid. As we left the taxi tonight you could feel the steam rising from the roads.
Tomorrow the taxi picks us up at 10:00 to take us to the coast then it is a private speed boat to Koh Samed. Three nights, four days of relaxing.
Hope you are all ok x
