Wild Orchids

The spotted orchid is common all over Europe. A few years ago some appeared in my garden and now quite a clump is well established. Because they are a common sight makes them none the less beautiful. The lip of the flower has patterned blocks of darker purple colouring (due to more pigmentation). The composite blip shows in close-up two hybrids with their intricate patterns.
