Btw, I found an interesting read about the Uncle Remus stories.

The kids, of course, simply enjoyed the voice in which it was read - given the phonetic spelling you see here. The stories themselves also went down a bit of a treat - especially with the young bloke; Missy was in a bit of a stand-offish mood owing to television denial. ;)

The day also involved a bike ride and a walk/run with the chilluns, and fixing the front gate. Fairly good day,
