We're a burning things again

Been an interesting end to a weeks leave. Had an old friend, from my days at Carter Holt Harvey, come and stay with me overnight. Hence a blip day in retrospec.

We have laughed and laughed and talked up a storm. She is really like my other mother, and at times worse than having a mother in terms of friendly advise. But I love her too bits and would be lost without her.

Last night she was exposed to some good old fashioned fire burning down by the lake. She thoroughly enjoed herself and says my friends Trish's husband, is very patient doing what he does for us on wee outings like this.
