Reflection

I was fascinated with the reflections of clouds in the left behind water on the beach. We'd just got back home after an early birthday dinner when the heavens opened. I'm not sure if that's why there was so much water on the beach but it was quite unusual I think.

My big excitement of the day (apart from the pre-birthday dinner) is that I heard that I have a painting accepted for an exhibition at our local museum. I really didn't think I had a chance as there are so many entries from artists all around but I decided I really needed to take the plunge and submit something. So I sent in two and they accepted one! Wow. It will be on show for almost three months and I get to go to a special preview with two guests.
