The great mussel race

Today after rugby we headed into Edinburgh as we had a couple of errands to round in town.

We asked CJ how we should travel into town and he decided train - so we had a lovely walk down to the train station. CJ was the first on the train and promptly sat by the window so he could get the best view!

We quickly ticked off a couple of the to-do-items before stopping for some lunch. For S2 there was only one choice on the menu, however CJ was also keen to share his meal! The mussels were brought out and the race was on - who could eat the most! Poor S2 could hardly keep up as CJ tucked into them - definitely eating more than his share and in fact we are pretty sure he would have eaten the full main portion himself if he was allowed! He loves mussels!

We then finished the rest of our errands before heading back home, via the local playground!

A great way to spend a Saturday!
