Happy Birthday Adelmis

Lots of things happened today. We didn't actually get round to breakfast till about 1pm, so we called it brunch :P It was as close to a full English as we could get as Naomi and Mary had found a packet of bacon in the supermarket! Yum! Later on whilst cleaning the house, Adelmis (the Pastor's granddaughter) ran in to see if we could go to her 4th birthday party that evening.
It was a lovely evening, we were the oldest guests by quite a way, but we had lots of fun dancing with the kids. When it came to the cake, lots of songs were sung and then the birthday girl had to wipe her finger in the icing and lick it (a Colombian tradition I think?). Promptly afterwards, her mum dunked her face into the icing of the top layer, much to everyone else's amusement (but not to hers!) It was a lovely evening, and so nice to be able to share this time with such beautiful kids!
