His eye is on the sparrow...

We are visiting my Dad in Tennessee. He had a canon telephoto lens that I borrowed.

Ooh I want it. It is so fun to try it before I purchase but I definitely see this on my Christmas list.

I think this is a vesper sparrow. I tried to check google. He flew in and landed on this grass while I was walking in my dad's garden. So many wonderful things to blip here. My dad has horses and cows, a view of the mountains, an intestine barn. But I finally caught a bird so that is what you get today!
