Glorious Gardens

Who could resist a visit to gardens called 'Breezy Knees'! E and I spent a wonderful morning wandering round 15 acres of the most beautiful gardens arranged in 17 different areas. The Peony and Daylily garden was spectacular.
The original framework of trees and shrubs was started in 1999. Prior to that date the land was arable farmland with the only trees being a line of oaks and no effective hedges, making it very exposed and chilly ...... hence the name!
