living sculpture

I love this - it's john's grassroots sculpture depicting the grassroots campaign growing all over scotland for the yes vote. its widespread, it's positive and it's homegrown.

we've had hundreds of visitors today...hundreds, and it's been fantastic. we're so pleased, all the hard work over the past six months has been totally worth it and today has been the best start of aye inspired's journey. we got a huge amount of support today which means so much - from national collective folk, indy quines, yes aberdeen, priory staff, beefy and john, family, friends, colleagues, artists, local businesses, msp's and folk we had never met that loved the work and the whole concept of the show. it's a quiet, calm and thought-provoking aspect of the referendum. we don't challenge folk, or ask their opinion - they just look at the work and make their own judgement.

we're exhausted, but so chuffed. tonight I will be on the couch with wine and wimbledon, then up tomorrow for day two.

if you're in aberdeen tomorrow, pop in to the priory on belmont street for a wee look, we'll be there from 10-4. live music too!
