Documenting the documentarian

Here I am doing my morning thing. A cup of coffee and the laptop on my makeshift table (a large cushion across my lap), a blanket for warmth, Wilson's stuff strewn all over the place. Our routine is pretty set here. I have been doing morning duty feeding the lambs in the shed and in the field; Wilson has been letting out the chickens; Paul counts the cows.

Today we were back to work after our days off. We weeded an equipment area with the equipment still in it then got to mucking up hay and mud in the "yard," the concrete area between the barns where trucks, horses, and gardeners pass through daily. After clearing the thick stuff, we started pressure washing. I thought, well, it will look nice. For about two days. Farm work is never done.
