Pride

We went to town today and coudn't get to where we needed to be. The Jubilee Line was down and so we re-routed. We decided to walk and by the time we hit Trafalger Sq we saw the early prep for the Pride Event. The Heavens opened and G ran for the tube with me protestting as there was some fab shots to be had. Not happy! We made Oxford St as the Pride Parade was passing and were on the wrong side of the road. We decided to give up and find lunch, but we just couldn't seem to find the right thing.

G was starving and turning into an ugly monster. Finally we found lunch and sanity was restored. We decided to head home but I suggested we walk toward Piccadilly and catch a bit of the party spirit. G was tired and just wanted to head home but agreed to indulge me.

Once we arrived the atmosphere was magical and we followed the parade all the way to Trafalgar Square. A magical afternoon and such an honour to join in!

We walked nearly 11Km in total and I am exhausted.
