Walled Garden at Felbrigg Hall

We very carefully checked the opening times of Felbrigg Hall in Norfolk, however when we visited on Thursday, they were doing some decorating and the house was shut for the day! Hey ho...will visit again next holiday.

The gardens were open though and they were beautiful, we bought some National Trust sandwiches from the café and made a bee-line for the old orchard where there some inviting looking benches under the fruit trees, however just as we were about to sit down we were told that access to the orchard was now closed because the bees had started to swarm! Definitely not our day!
