What's in a name?!

It's the 10th Veteran Day in Holland today and former soldiers of WW II were present again too! One of them is this man giving High Fife's and calling out to us all "I love you all !!" . Putting the picture on screen I noticed his name 'De Kinderen' (The Children) That's so apt for a soldier who fought for our freedom!! Freedom for children & the future and now he's calling all the time "I love you all!!"

So already the 10th Veteran Day in Den Haag where the dutch veterans gather for their annual presentation to king and country ~ before they did that presentation to prince Bernhard, the King's grandpapa, on May 5th Holland's Liberation Day. However since prince Bernhard passed away at the end of the year 2004, it's been decided to celebrate Veteran's Day on Bernhard's birthdate since he's been symbolised with Hollands WW II veterans eversince 1945...
