Armed Forces Day Plymouth 2014

With M & G took grandson to this event. There were displays from all the services plus vintage aircraft, air sea rescue helicopter displays, marching bands, skydiving , aerobatic displays and much more. There was a field gun run contested by the Naval Base and Navy Training Base along the lines of contests at the Royal Tournament at Earls Court years ago. Each team has to pull a field gun plus a gun carriage, which has to be taken apart and reassembled, over a 100 metre course. It is an extremely heavy and exhausting contest.
