Numbered Days
Leo came as a lodger for a 'month'. Almost 3 months later and he is very much at home, but starting to cause one or two little problems. As he feels that the garden is now his, he barks at anything that moves outside the walls; this happens at 1,2 3,4,5 o'clock in the night and morning. He has also decided that chasing sheep is good fun, so if we are not careful (or the guards aren't paying attention when they open an external door), he's off to get the sheep away from 'his' territory. Trouble is that the locals don't appreciate dogs in the way that we do. For his own safety (poisoned meat thrown over the wall is a real risk) we have asked the owner to find alternate lodgings for him. Due to leave by the end of June. I'll miss him, but not as much as I miss my own dogs at home.
