Comfort Saturday

After a rather heavy Friday night out - fantastic by the way - it's chill out Saturday.

No proper football on (but not long now ....) so did what I've become to find very relaxing.

Planet Rock radio blasting out decent tunes with me preparing all the ingredients for my signature dish - Paella!

Our new hob makes the whole cooking process so much easier, not least because it's level. Our old cooker had the tower of Pisa about it.

I've posted my efforts on this before, but today's effort is colourful and worth a blip on its own.

Mrs Rowan is working (boooo), No1 son is out with his uncle (on his maw's side), No1 stepson is sowing his wild oats in Glasgow and No2 stepson is doing the same as his brother, but closer to home.

So, a bottle of red wine (shhh) and some TV to catch up on, plus the paella.

Comfort Saturday it is.
