The Kelpies

Was hoping for a wee trip down the coast to seacliff beach today and the surf forecast for body boarding looked not too bad (for this side of the country anyway!!).

But the weather had other ideas and the rest of the brood were not as keen as I was.

Clare then suggested a trip to see The Kelpies so off we went.

It was a really good afternoon. When the sun shone it was warm but when it went any and the wind picked up..it was rather chilly (typical Scottish Summer!!).

Also a school boy error occurred as I managed to leave my camera at home so I only had my phone to capture the moment, but saying that, was pleased with the outcome.

I would recommend a wee trip out there and I reckon I will be back - especially in the evening when they are lit up in all sorts of colours!!
