Happy birthday mum x

This was thursday night...Mum's 72nd birthday. I've found it hard the last two days, because each time she sees these flowers from my brother on the kitchen table, she asks who they were for. Then I remind her it was her birthday, and she goes "oh that's right". She's also having trouble remembering my cousin visiting 3 weeks ago.

Every now and again I am reminded about her Alzheimer's. I think maybe I enjoy not thinking about it this much.

Anyway...she had a lovely day, celebrating with us and the girls. And that is why she lives with us now :)
