Peeling Bark

We have a couple of gum trees out the back which continuously peel their bark. It had been a strange sort of day. There was a cloudless blue sky morning, an overcast early afternoon, snowfalls through the mid afternoon and a proper sunset come nightfall. The temperature had plummeted to one degree over a very brief period as the snow came and the wind returned. I was outside for a brief moment to grab this blip. It was a lot warmer inside.
