Pruning

We have a small number of fruit trees on the farm and the annual pruning is a job I really enjoy. It is almost therapeutic cutting away any dead wood and pruning back most of the new growth so as to encourage fruiting and a good shape.I am not an expert but we get a good crop of apples and pears.Daughter Clare was also keen to give a hand so features in my shot.
