Just like Rio!

Woke to sunshine and blue skies on Barra, and went ashore for an hour to check out dinner menus at the local hostelries. All our food so far was precooked by us at home. Posh boat this - has a fridge :)

Lured by the sunshine, we decided to go for a stroll up Barra's tallest hill, Heaval.
Quite a steep climb, but worth it for the views, and like Rio, there is a statue looking down on the bay.

Got back to our dinghy hours later than expected - oops!
The tide had come in and the ring we had tied up to was under about 6 feet of water.
BBB to the rescue - he climbed into a rowing boat, managed to cut through the rope and retrieve our dinghy.

If it wasn't for the risk to my marriage I would have blipped the picture of him in the rowing boat, which was called 'fatty knees' ! Hehe :)
