Touch Notes.
I have recently found an app that I love where you can send post cards to people using images on your phone. Its called Touch Note.
So far, I have sent 5 and so far I have had 5 thrilled recipients messaging me to say thank you.
This is Mr W's card. I sent it to him first so I could see what the quality was like. It was a picture I took during our recent trip to Newquay. I drew in the sand on Watergate Bay Beach without Mr W knowing hoping he would see it when I showed him all the Newquay photos - but he never looked at them! But thats ok, it made this card even more of a surprise!
I also sent my friend from WilTshire a thank you card of the image I took here of her house. She also loved it!
Then I send my sister in law this Poppy picture. We have been having a race to see who can grow the first poppy!! I won!! But she needed cheEring up as it was her brother in law who recently died, the day after getting married. Just wanted to cheer her up.
Then I send my Daughter Number 2 and Baby Boy the picture of them I took of them on Tuesday. My Baby Boy text me this evening so say thank you and that it made him smile.
So, it just goes to show that the good old postal service still makes people happy and maybe we should do more like that. Its just too easy to send a text or an email or say Happy Birthday on Facebook. What people want is to know you are thinking of them and just make a little bit of effort.
Stupidly busy day. I should have had a day off but I went to work. Then realised that all my time sheets are due in on Monday but am off to work at 7.30am tomorrow, then straight off to Cambridgeshire to see friends till Monday, leaving no time to do time sheets!!! Bad planning! Silly me.
Anyway, Im all done now. Its 10.30 and I have only just sat down! Tired isn't even close!!!
Night night.
xXx
