When we moved into this house 15 years ago, this rose was growing quite vigorously.

Then it almost died, and I've been nursing it along ever since. Finally this year I seem to have it back close to 100% - at least well enough to flower.

You'll see that mildew has had a go at it, but it has come through anyway.

A very busy day, and a bit stressed. A typical situation where clients somehow sense I'm taking a week's holiday, and new stuff comes flying in just when it's least welcome.

(New work is always welcome if you're self employed - just a matter of degree).
