and now the snow has gone...

and the sun has come out. We were walking to swim today as opposed to sledging and the same walk looked so very different in 3 days! All the snow has disappeared like it was never there and the sun was setting on what had been a lovely but chilly day. I for one am sad to see the snow go but pleased it went so quickly so there was none of that mucky gloopy bit in between like many had.

Swimming was really good, Alfie did a number of strokes on his own and I even managed a few lengths so I could pretend I was doing something towards new years fitness! This was while my other half dealt with a somewhat disenchanted small person :-) , hey ho thems the breaks!
