Graffiti.

There are a number of pictures in arches near to the Sage Gateshead music centre. I liked this 0ne because it's back is in the shape of the Sage. There are also other landmarks , such as St James Park football ground, the Tyne Bridge and St Nicholas Cathedral.
They do change from time to time, but no-one attempts to remove them.
