"Toby" - our oldest patient!

Toby must be by far our oldest patient and I was lucky enough to see him today. His present owner has had him for more than 30 years and she got him from an old man who had acquired him as a young boy - we reckon he must be coming on for 100 years old.
Every year his owner wonders if he will emerge from hibernation and he does! He measures over a foot in length and weighed in at 3.5 kgs today .
He is certainly quite a character and he makes a dash (tortoise variety) for safety whenever he hears the lawn mower starting up!
