That time of year again

... the Thursday when the Cycling Weekly Tour de France preview issue comes out :)

Riding home tonight, stopped at the lights in Aberdeen and a guy in a car wound down his window and asked "What's it like riding a bike in town?" What a strange question to ask, anyway I replied "Its great, I love it, especially when its not raining". (I didn't have the heart to say I've got 25 miles to ride home as I don't think folks that don't ride regularly can comprehend actually covering more than a few miles on a bike).

I'm hoping that the driver might have been thinking of giving cycling a go, but he probably just thinks I'm a bit of a nutter :)
