And after the longest day comes....

....the longest night! Supposedly the shortest night of the year, but when you're up from midnight until gone 4am with a wide awake 16kg toddler in your arms it definitely feels like the longest night. Lovely to see the sunrise for another day....! Poor Nathaniel seemed lots better in the day but at night his ear or teeth seem to be unbearable for him despite all sorts of medicine. And trickily he wants mummy...as does Bay! So it was off to the out if hours GP this morning rather than swimming. Following their advice we headed over did an apportionment only to wait for best part of an hour then see GP who wanted to take a swab but said the results wouldn't get back to our GP as labels wouldn't be right, so go yo your own GP tomorrow and start new antibiotics today! Oh my...I'm still amazed I didn't swear at him. No point starting new medicine then swabbing so I told him I'd do it myself! So new antibiotics collected (annoyingly four times a day with food!) and off we went.
This afternoon was way more fun. It was the NCT kids summer birthday party. Lots of fun in the bouncy castle and in all the toys everyone brought along. Here the picture shows the toddlers opening their pressies...Matty, William (Sam out of shot), Matilda, Dylan, Charlotte, Emily, Amelie, Daisy, Cameron, Arthur, Ben and Nathaniel all had lots of fun along with the 'new generation' of Annie, Jess, Peter, Poppy and Balian...and not forgetting the twin bumps!
