A day to myself....

On my day's holiday, I woke to the sound of the bin men at 7 but managed to roll over and go back to sleep til 8.30ish. I did some web surfing, looking for cottages for a trip early next year and did some washing.

After a much needed shower, I mended my swimming costume saw a bit of recorded tv and went out to the cinema for an early showing. I haven't been to the flicks for ages and as the weather wasn't great, it seemed like a plan. I saw ' Chef', without any expectations. It was pretty rubbish but easy to watch and some of the locations were nice to see.

I then went over to Woburn for another swim in the pool. The water was the same as last time at 22C but it was slightly cooler outside. Still sunny for most of the swim. I had the pool to myself again for the first 40 minutes, after which some small children arrived with their blow up dolphin. As the clouds gathered (see blip) I headed home to my clean house (as the cleaners cane today) to hang up all the washing.

I'm now going over to Bedford to see S for the evening. Happy Friday....
