...which means emergency dog blip. Today has been very busy - it started with Thomas and I being at school at 7.45am for the last music semi-final competition, which was in the voice category. I thought he sang beautifully, as I have never really heard him sing before - well of course I have, in the shower, but not in a performance. Singing a Schubert song in German at that early hour was not easy on the voice.

Later that morning the year 8's they had their Leaver's Service and mass...it was quite emotional and very special. This was followed by drinks and nibbles before we went in to lunch - parents, boys and their teachers. It was very enjoyable the food was rather good too. The boys then went out for an afternoon of sport and the parents' went home - we arrived home just in time to see Luke cleaning the last bits of the kitchen, after he and his friends had already cleaned up the entertainment room after drinks, BBQ and sleepover last night - he even washed the floor - I had left instructions as we left this morning.....

Now we have 22 guests arriving in less than an hour and I need to get ready - so it really had to be an emergency dog blip today. I did try to include some of the lavender, but Murdoch was not enjoying being told where to sit. He went to the parlour yesterday so at least he is looking rather smart!
