Bobbing
15.1C with long sunny spells. Moderate breeze.
Maeve the Deerhound and I went for our walk down to the beach after lunch. The tide was not yet at its highest. More breeze today was making the sea a little choppy so three of the four boats in the water were moored much closer to shore in a sheltered place in the channel through the rocks. They were still bobbing up and down, straining at the mooring ropes.
The structure at the edge of the beach which belongs to Tom (skipper of Shamara II), which I often call his creel rack, has been dismantled to the frame of posts and scaffold poles. The pallets which make up the floor are all stacked and ready to be reassembled. Looks like he will be building out over the beach again this year so when winter comes it it will be in danger from the high tides and storms again.
