Day excursion with friends.

The weather was not good to us. We had these one day train tickets valid for all public transportation and everywhere in Switzerland. We went to NIESEN and had a lovely lunch. We could not enjoy the view from here as it was cloudy and at the end it poured cats and dogs.
After lunch we headed for a boat ride on Thunersee. Still cloudy and rainy. As you can see in this blip.
On our way home towards the end of the day, the sky opened up and we finally saw blue sky and the sun. Unfortunately few hours toooooo late.
Anyway, we still enjoyed the company of our friends and hopefully they did too. They will just have to come back again and stay a bit longer. At least then we could choose to do an excursion according to the weather.
