Missed Saigon
After a brief overnight in Ho Chi Minh City, I didn't have time to explore before heading back to the airport. I could tell that the pace of life is different there to Hanoi. It's no wonder north and south Vietnam had a bit of a tiff.
This characterful building is in Yangon, Myanmar, and it's my first trip here. First impressions are that it's more like India than the rest of South East Asia, but with interesting aspects of both: chaotic infrastructure, monsoon rains, gentle people, noodle curries. Excited to find out more about it for the next week.
