In These Shoes ?

Evening all.

Not often do the Richardsons lift up their bushels to expose the light beneath, or reveal a musical instrument of any description....let alone blow it.

However, today i make an exception in the case of number one daughter as she makes the transition from adolescent pupae to adult butterfly.

Not withstanding all the grief and trauma of the last few years she has successfully breezed through and straight a'd last years GCSES (at the age of 14),
waltzed through the remaining ones this year, safely negotiated the post exam leaaving school ennui by securing herself one paid job doing something she really enjoys.

Then the day after school finished, wandered down to her local primary school with her mate and secured voluntary positions as classroom assistants til the end of term.

The confidence and maturity she is showing at the moment is, as is she, a joy behold.

There's much more i could telll you but i sense i'll stop before she reads this and goes puce with embarrassment, so i give you a photo of ludicrously cool prom shoes and a reminder, you don't have be brilliant, but do be happy....
