Protecting the Jays!!!

My friend Peg who is out visiting her daughter in Vancouver B.C. . Her daughter just had her second child so it's Peg's second grandchild! Peg's plan is hopefully to find a rental place in Bellingham and move here in the fall. We went up to Bellingham today to check out possiblilities for Peg. We really lucked out as we were also able to visit both Connections and Artist Annie at various times throughout our rental search. Both visits were delightful. Connections and I had already figured out we went to the same high school in Ohio and marched in the band at the same time. She was two classes ahead of me. But Peg also went there only she is three years behind C. Then in chatting they both found out their families went to the same church and lived on the SAME street-----very very amazing! What a lot of chuckles and chatting went on over mutual people they both knew!

We did find a great rental condo Peg is waiting to hear if she gets so keep youf fingers crossed! We had a lovely time out on Ann and Arvin's deck watching the antics of the infamous Stellar Blue Jays the Ann takes such magnificent shots of. We also had a gull swarm around harassing the Jays , but Ann came to the rescue with her large water gun:) It was a hoot watching her jump into action! And the Jays then all came back to continue their show.

We were exhausted by the end of the day after looking at the last place on our list! Peg goes back up to B.C. tomorrow and back to her little family up there .I'm so excited that in the fall her move out here might actually happen!!!
