My friend Montse

This morning I didn't do much apart from reading my book about photography and relaxing my leg.

This evening I went to a double celebration. It was the graduation of my friend (in the picture) and her boyfriend's 50th birthday. I was not too sure how comfortable he would be appearing in my blip, so this portrait of Montse was my final choice.

I'm really proud of her because she was one of the only two people who managed a first, and she's still struggling with her English! I actually lent her a dictionary which she has taken to all of her exams. She told me that she never actually needed to use the dictionary but it gave her luck!!! Good to hear! :)

She wanted me to go to the graduation ceremony and take photos there, but that would have involved too much standing and walking about, which was not good for my leg so, unfortunately, I had to refuse. However, I took many pictures of the celebration later on, which was at her boyfriend's family home and didn't involve so much movement!

I have a few photos to process now... :)

Feeling tired now and ready to bed.

Thanks very much for all your lovely comments yesterday. I hope you all had a good day! :)
