Meanwhile, on the Eastern Front...

I have been following the excellent work of wintersixfour and his D-Day blip series.

Having once been a fan of WW2 model kits, I decided that I would pay my tribute to the time and to wintersixfour's work by creating this one-off tribute (? maybe, it's addictive...) scene from the Russian Front.

This has taken me most of the evening, finding the different scale tanks in the attic (1:35 and 1:76 KVI, 1:76 SU85), setting them on an old rug (I mean the steppeland), photographing various configurations, then photoshopping the hell out of the resulting image.
