Red Admiral

Red Admiral (Vanessa atalanta) is a migrant from North Africa and Southern Europe. It breeds here in the summer and then migrates south across the English Channel during the Autumn. 3 of them suddenly appeared in the garden this afternoon. I think its Latin name suits it.
