End of term today for one of my offspring, and a prize-giving. Proud mama. End of his days in primary school too. Mixed feelings, and almost lost it completely when they presented a photograph to him to show him in pre-school and now. He's had 9 years of pre-school and primary, so the 6 years of senior school are sure to whizz by.

In the meantime, dear daughter has been away to Alton Towers for the day - started her journey when Mum's taxi dropped her at school at 1:30 am for the long drive south. Back tonight about midnight.
