Midsummer

Highlight of the holiday.

Jumped off sugar rock first thing in the morning- the water was freezing- but it woke us up.

The girls collected flowers to make into garlands and we sat down to lunch. Eating was regularly interrupted with Swedish singing followed by a shot of Schnapps. We toddled along to the local village and danced around the midsummer pole and drank coffee.

Then we did the midsummer olympics e.g. drunken games. We had a bonfire and continued to drink until it was light again.
