The day Eubers had a brain storm!

Up early to get ready for a doubler with Band 2 at church so needed time to fit in all the other things prior to that ..... ablutions, hair straightening, dog walking etc etc. (Was still really icy on the roads). Band 2 did ok today - think we're back on form!

Made celery and stilton soup for lunch (heart is just about still beating). Was taking my penultimate spoonful, when Eubers suddenly announced, "I think I'd like to go to Silverburn this afternoon, " and then the words.... "YOU COULD DO SOME SHOPPING!!!" After I had picked myself up off the floor, and before he had time to change his mind, we jumped in the car and off we went.

Had a great time buying up the stores, and as a reward for his patience, we went for a cup of coffee and a nicey. (This is Eubers having had his nicey and finishing his coffee).

Came home and took MP for a chase of her ball in the dark. It's really hard trying to see where a ball goes in the dark! All I can say is, thank goodness she is a retriever.
