Roses

Today, Lucas finished Primary 2. I picked him up and we walked to our house with him beside himself with excitement at the thought of a two night sleepover. We all had to play Monopoly, a new game to him. After lunch, he had to go off with Janet for new trainers and a visit to the hairdressers. I raced out into the front garden to reclaim it from neglect. It's looking good. Lucas returned to help with weeding and sweeping up hedge cuttings. He loves helping with anything I do. Unfortunately, I had no time to go out looking for photo opportunities.

At the moment we have roses in profusion. Amazingly, the big hydrangea is coming into bloom at least 6 weeks earlier than normal. However, today's blip is Peace.
