Queen's Baton Relay

We made our plans and thought that Pittenweem would be the ideal place to see the Baton. We parked the car at St Monance and walked along the coastal path arriving in time for a coffee before the due time for its arrival from Leven. The stewards were out in force & I've never seen so many police at least never in this area! At last the message came that the baton was nearly with us (more than 1/2 hour late. The young lad who passed us was running so fast that we couldn't get a decent photo! In fact I was lucky to get anything at all - I just turned the camera and pressed. I hope to have another couple of chances to get a better pic. We did enjoy the walk and tea in St Monance!
