Canaletto

After a peaceful day at work with keeping my head down and getting on with things, I jumped in a tram after work for a quick trip in to the centre of the city. Had a wander round the shops before visiting the National Gallery.

I learnt something in the gallery today, they don't mind you taking photos at all, as long as a flash is not used. So all these furtive shots of Monet and Gaugin need not have been furtive, as was doing nothing wrong!

As I have said before, wandering round galleries looking at masterpieces is without doubt one of my favourite ways to relax after work.

Now, should I have some Cannelloni for tea!
