A Balmy Night

Taken in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Just beautiful.

It was weird to wake up at my friend's place when it was a) not the weekend, and b) after only 3 hours of sleep maximum!

Buoyed by a great night, and adrenalin no doubt, I left at 6:30am, and drove home. It was grey, but really lovely and quite peaceful. It felt strange arriving back at my house with last night's make up on, and clothes etc, but still fun!

I was like suburban superwoman! I had a bath, reapplied my make up, run the dishwasher and washed the top I wore last night- all before 8am!

Once at work, the day stared out ahead in a nightmarish stretch! I really struggled. I've done this many times before, but never on a work day, and being a teacher means no sitting quietly behind a computer screen all day!

Children cut me no slack, so today really was painful. Ever the masochist, I decided to go to gym tonight, where a sensible person would have crawled home for an early night! It backfired really, as once I got there I realised it was a bit too much.

So. Tired. BUT! So. Worth. It. :-)
