Today was a puppet day at the National Puppetry Archives

There's a lot of puppetry stuff coming up in the next few months, so we went to the NPA to sort things through, which in the puppetry world, means we go through A LOT of string. While we were documenting a troupe of Victorian marionettes, this string was found - it's circa 1930/40s. Finding the proper string to re-string marionettes is not an easy feat these days.
