a success story............

Eight years ago I moved from Zomba in the south of the country to Mzuzu to assist one of the Early Childhood Centres here. It was literally a small room with about 50 children and 2 caregivers - everyone was packed into the dirty room and rote learning was the norm. Today the ECD centre is blossoming - we have 9 members of staff and around 70 children who play and develop in a wonderful environment in the middle of Mzuzu.

So there is hope in the midst of so much hopelessness.........and it seems fitting that the small child walking on the plank is called Hope!!
