Sports Day with a Difference

This year Lucie's school has chosen a new approach to Sports Day. Instead of the usual 4 coloured teams racing against each other and against their current year they have decided to have the entire school do various activities. It was fun I guess for the little ones but could see some of the older ones looking rather bored. There wasn't much competitiveness and no ambitious parents screaming and shouting (I guess that's not a bad thing!) But still to me wasn't very exciting but it was a nice idea. They had thirty teams of mixed ages ranging from Reception to Year 6. It was however lovely to see the older one taking care of the little ones.

Here's my sporting hero, doing a potato and spoon race. Although it wasn't a race just a way to run around balancing (half) a potato!!

Main thing is weather was dry so all is good.
